Reviews From Previous Hunters

Alberta Bush Adventures is a family run business specializing in black bear hunting, elk hunting, whitetail deer hunting and waterfowl hunting including Canada goose hunts and duck hunts.

“I’ve hunted with Alberta Bush Adventures four times.   First hunt was a Fall combo hunt for bears and waterfowl.  Each morning was great action shooting Canadas Specks and ducks.  I saw 17 bears in six evenings  and shot a big black bear with my bow, the same night my brother shot a big chocolate coloured black bear.   The following three trips I’ve returned to hunt waterfowl only. Shot limits most days.  Richard and Joel will give you 100% every day.  Diane cooks an awesome breakfast.  I plan on returning.”

“My brother, father, and I have been hunting with Alberta Bush Adventures (ABA) since 2018. We’ve been hunters all our lives but never found anywhere we enjoy as much as our trips to hunt with Richard, Diane, and Joel. The Whitetail hunting is a riot and at any time you could have the chance to kill the buck of a lifetime. In addition, the food is wonderful, the accommodations are perfect, and we enjoy making lifelong memories in a beautiful place.  ABA has always allowed us to make suggestions and put us on plenty of animals. Richard and Joel work hard to help you fill your tag and Diane works just as hard to keep you more than fed. I would highly recommend ABA to anyone looking for a great hunting adventure.”

“I’ve been hunting ducks and geese with Alberta Bush Adventures since 2001. I have made it back each year with the exception of a few years due to unforeseeable obstacles, such as Covid. The hunting and amount of birds that use the area is incredible. It is a regular occurrence to see thousand and thousands of ducks and geese flying out to feed each day. Richard’s extensive contacts, local knowledge and relationships with the local farmers ensure you will be in a field the birds want to be in. Limits of birds are very common but that is only part of the allure. Being out there in that element and being immersed in the local habitat is well worth the price of admission, and a memory you will never forget. The accommodations are very nice as well, with a detached cabin on the property that can easily sleep four or more hunters and leaves plenty of room for gear. They also have a room inside their home that sleeps two people. Meals are served family style in their home. The food is delicious and there is plenty for everyone. Richard and Diane are gracious hosts and make you feel welcome while you hunt with them. Their sons, Joel and Andre frequently help out by getting you set up in the mornings or scouting for the next field to hunt in. It is a family operation that I look forward to experiencing every Fall.”

“Thank you for an amazing experience! Successful hunting is a great feeling, but the people you meet along the way is more rewarding. Thank you for welcoming us into your home and we hope to see you in whitetail camp in years to come.”
